I may be 31 years old but at least I am not dettached from from why I became a skater in the first place. I see too often on the msgboards skaters so dettached from this notion. They don’t even realize the complaining about, professionalism, clothes, style, attitudes, and all the other shit sounds just like our parents used to.

I may be older, more mature, wiser, and not into being rebelious any longer myself but angered by it? Is this is you, just hang’em up b/c you are now officially too old to skate. Your colleagues might think you are immature.

I am glad that i took the time to read this article. I have been rolling for 10 years but i think i am in the transitional generation between old and new school.

I am guilty of dismissing companies like Shredwesier too quickly. And i will re-evaluate my position.

I am not happy with a lot of things that i see in rollerblading, both within the business side and with all the hate that is present on messageboards.

But most of thank you for challenging me to make a change in rollerblading. And will really think about what i can do on my part to change rollerblading for the better.
