Did the sentencing have anything to do with the fact that he wasn’t wearing a helment? I know it sounds dick, but the defense could really get this woman off the hook by saying he could have survived the accident had he been wearing a helmet (not required by Ohio law). Regardless she was in the wrong, and took someone’s life. I just wonder how the sentence could be so reduced.
